Watercolour, 23 x 11,7 cm, paper, signed with brown ink at lower right corner "Lavezzari".
Mounted under passe-partout.
Lovely view of the San Marco and the Doge Palace with the campanile prominently in the foreground. Lavezzari (1817-1881) was a Florentine and Venetian artist who taught perspective at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. He painted many Venetian "vedute" in the wake of Canaletto and Guardi.
