Very rare bird's-eye view featuring the taking of Diest in 1580, with in the front the Zichem gate opened to a detachment of Dutch cavalry troops. Finely executed after Hogenberg's Geschichtsblätter, this anonymous print is clearly enlarged, thus showing additional topographical information.
