Mechelen, Ed. Van Den Bossche, 1914
Chromolith., vellum paper 61 x 43,5 cm; large blue monogram to the left side, date "26.11.XIIII" to the centre (sl. brown., upper left corner sl. folded, some unobtrusive folds).
With his back to us, the painter is set loose on his palette, brushing it vigorously. "For this exhibition poster, Ost based his design on a pencil sketch made on New Year's Eve 1913 - perhaps to sweep out the old year" (Scheerlinck).
