Lot description
Engraving, 43 x 31,3 xm, laid paper, signed in the plate at the lower right corner "Iohannes Stradanus inventor / Phls Galle fecit" (laid down on paper mount, brown stains, trimmed just inside the platemark, some creases).
Very rare, large engraving after Stradanus' altarpiece in Santo Spirito in Florence. Only state.
