Lot description
1 f. (29,5 x 49 cm, plica 9 cm), on vellum, in Latin (seal missing).
Lucas de Tollentis (d. 1491) was Bishop of Šibenik (Knin, Croatia) and sent by Pope Sixtus IV as legate a latere in the Low Countries after Charles the Bold and then Maximilian of Austria. The deed is addressed to Laurentius Sprewe, chaplain of the Chapel of Our Lady "Oostvut" (?) of Honschoote ("Capellanie beate Marie Oostout de hondiscota"), in the former diocese of Thérouanne ("Moriniensis diocesis").
