Rare bird's-eye view of Antwerp by Hugues Picart. The publisher Louis Boissevin (d. 1685) is known for re-issuing Jean Boisseau's "Trésor des cartes" in 1653 and more particularly Claude de Châtillon's "Topographie francoise" in 1655 which includes this panorama of Antwerp. Boissevin moved to the rue Saint-Jacques (mentioned on the imprint) from 1653 onwards.
