Lot description
Drawing, black chalk heightened with white, 32,4 x 27,8 cm, blue prepared paper, unsigned (remains of old mount on verso, several sm. tears and creases, upper corners sl. bent).
A remorseful Adam and Eve driven out of Paradise by the Archangel Michael. A composition sketch on blue paper by a very skilled hand. Possibly Roman or Bolognese school.
