1. Beham, Hans Sebald - Coat of arms with an eagle. Engraving, 7,5 x 5 cm, laid paper, signed and dated in plate with monogram in banderole at upper right "HSB 1543" (trimmed to borderline, some loss of paper near edges). Even impression of first and only state. Ref. German Hollstein III:268. - Pauli 268.-- 2. Idem - "Melencolia". Engraving, 8 x 5 cm, laid paper, signed and dated in the plate with monogram at upper left "HSB 1539" (trimmed just within borderline, upper right corner torn, paper thinned near edges, sm. tear at upper centre). Late impression of the fourth and final state with date added. Ref. German Hollstein III:145.4 - Pauli 145. - Bartrum 98. Prov. Arenberg (stamp on verso, Lugt 567). -- 3. Attributed to Sebald Beham - Ornament with siren and triton fighting. Engraving, 5,8 x 8,1 cm, laid paper, unsigned (trimmed to or just within platemark, sm. restoration on verso of lower edge, edges frayed). The print closely resembles ornament prints with similar mythological themes of Beham and Aldegrever.-- 4. Idem - The village feast. Engraving, 5 x 7,3 cm, laid paper, signed in the plate with monogram HSB (trimmed to borderline, sl. rubbed, brownly toned). Part of the series "Peasant festival" (10 pl). First state (of 3), before addition of number. Ref. German Hollstein III:184.1.-- 5. After Sebald Beham - The village feast. Engraving, 5 x 7,3 cm, laid paper, unsigned (trimmed to borderline with thread margin on the right, sl. rubbed at left edge, brownly toned). Part of the series "Peasant festival" (10 pl.).
