Engraving, 30 x 44 cm, laid paper with watermark, signed in the plate at bottom "A.V.".

Engraved after a now lost Raphael drawing for the fresco in the eighth arcade of the Vatican Loggia now replaced by a reproduction by Pietro Santi Bartoli. There is a Raphael school drawing believed to be the model for the engraving now at Christ Church in Oxford (inv. n. 1817). Very nice and clear impression of the 3rd state (of 5) with the address of Antonio Salamanca. With thread margins.
