8vo: [8]-131 ff., 104 [= 120]-[2] pp. (toned, occ. staining, top corner of last ff. torn off with loss of a few letters).
Old sheep, spine with 4 raised bands with paper label, fore-edge titled (worn, rebacked).
Very rare Neo-Latin translation of Du Bartas’ Semaine by the prolific poet Du Monin (1557 - murdered Paris 1586). Part II contains his Latin and French verse, dedicated to or in praise of P. de Ronsard, O. de Lassus, J. Stadius, G. Buchanan, Petrarch etc. With Latin versions of some Petrarch sonnets, e.g. “S’amor non è”. The edition was also issued by Hilaire Le Bouc.
