Aquarelle, 29 x 48,5 cm, thick wove paper, signed in black ink at bottom right "A. de Briseau".

Aristide de Briseau (1844-1883) was a prolific landscape painter, specialising in views of northern France and the Ardennes.
Joined: Girot, François-Joseph - Field with horses. Aquarelle on paper, 26,5 x 40,5 cm, signed in black pen at lower right corners. Under passe-partout. A rare work by Girot (1873-1917), who was a student of Gustave Moreau. He lost his life on the battlefields of the Somme during the First World War and left only a small but promising oeuvre. (2 pcs)
