Cont. blindstamped calf over wood (joints rubbed, tail rest.), edges bevelled inside, spine on 5 raised bands, large metal clasps, catches and corner pieces. Still good copy, decorative binding.

Monumental Dutch "Keur" Bible, reprint of the 1716 edition, with the colophon of that edition. Long privilege of the "Staten Generael der Vereenighde Nederlanden". Engr. ill.: general title, 5 double page maps by D. Stoopendaal (of 6, world map lacking), i.a. map of Jerusalem and Canaan and 10 (= incomplete set) full page pls each holding 6 ills. Woodcut mark on part titles. Printed in gothic type in 2 cols.
