Lot description
Brass telescope, numbered 607 with a length of 32 cm; tubular spirit level in brass vial (16,5 cm) and brass tripod (128 cm). All in good condition.
Wooden box (36 x 26 x 12,5 cm).
Lenoir type level with its typical circular base invented by Étienne Lenoir (1744–1832) in 1820. Desimpelaere who took over the business of his father, remained actif at least until 1922.
