In 1728, Jean-Michel Moreau provided the illustrations for the London 4to edition of Voltaire's "La Henriade" , in which the author praises the reign of Henry IV as an illustration of religious tolerance. The two drawings replicate the general compositions of the illustrations by Moreau for Canto 7 and 10, but add different settings and characters.
